About the role: 

The Nuclear Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our growing team and play a key role in attracting top talent to our organization within the dynamic nuclear energy sector. This role will focus on full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and offer negotiation with a specialization in the nuclear energy space. This role reports to the Senior Manager, HR and Recruiting.  

Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire recruitment process, including:  

  • Developing job descriptions and posting open positions on relevant platforms. 
  • Sourcing and identifying qualified candidates through various channels (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, employee referrals). 
  • Screening resumes and conducting initial phone/video interviews. 
  • Coordinating interviews with hiring managers. 
  • Managing candidate communication and providing a positive candidate experience. 
  • Negotiating offers and managing the onboarding process. 

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Building:  

  • Proactively source passive candidates and build talent pipelines for current and future openings. 
  • Utilize advanced search techniques and tools to identify top talent in the nuclear energy field. 
  • Network with industry professionals and attend industry events to build relationships and identify potential candidates. 

Relationship Management:  

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their needs and providing them with regular updates on the recruitment process. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing them with timely feedback and guidance. 

Data & Analytics:  

  • Produce weekly hiring reports for hiring managers 
  • Assist in ad hoc reporting 

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a technical or engineering field. 

  • Experience recruiting in the nuclear energy industry or another highly regulated environment is a plus.
     
  • Systems thinker – you see the big picture and how to connect infrastructure and process.  
  • Strong sourcing and candidate identification skills. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.    
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems, preferably Greenhouse, and other recruiting tools.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: 

The estimated starting salary range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis.  The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
