JOB PROFILE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Senior Quality Analyst to join our team to support Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) activities remotely (centered in the DC-MD-VA area). As a Senior Quality Analyst, you will perform a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program. You will establish and define program plan requirements and perform in-depth studies; develop plans to assess quality and perform related monitoring tasks; assist with process development and implementation; monitor and report on program performance; and interact with the customer and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently in a team environment and be flexible around evolving needs while managing both schedule and overall commitments in order to meet project deliverables.

This is a remote position (centered in the DC-MD-VA area).

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Developing processes around and executing the program Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
  • Developing and executing audits for documentation/process quality and Section 508 compliance.
  • Develop and maintain standards, methods, and procedures for the program, with assistance from other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and technical writers.
  • Reporting on program quality/performance.
  • Providing support for program status reporting, as needed.
  • Identifying areas of improvement to enhance program efficiency/quality.
  • Assisting with documentation repository development and maintenance.
  • Providing guidance to less experienced staff members.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology and trends.
  • May involve some supervisory/task lead responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience preparing documentation for delivery or publication.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • 5+ years of experience developing/conducting auditing processes to assess quality/compliance of documentation deliverables.
  • 5+ years of experience working with and/or reporting on service-level agreements or performance standards.
  • 5+ years of experience writing and editing deliverables.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with remediation of technical documentation to comply with accessibility standards such as Section 508 compliance.
  • Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Process and Product Quality Assurance (PPQA).
  • Familiarity with the development and execution of a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
  • Familiarity with Agile approaches such as Scrum and SAFe.
  • Familiarity with Confluence and SharePoint.

The likely salary range for this position is $80,226 - $102,350. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
