The CSG Forte Bid Management Team’s Proposal Content Manager (PCM) will lead the research, creation, and housing of multiple forms of proposal content (writing, graphics) for CSG Forte’s existing content management database. This role will interact with the Bid Management Team, Sales, Product Development, other functional teams and internal Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to define and develop valuable content to be shared internally and externally (within responses to RFP’s, RFI’s, Unsolicited Proposals, etc.). The PCM is responsible for developing messaging and content that improves the reader’s experience and increases product and service awareness and adoption. The PCM will steward the CSG Forte Bid Management content database utilizing the third-party tool, Ombud.
We are looking for a Proposal Content Manager who will:
Act as a primary liaison between the Subject Matter Expert's (SME's) to obtain responses for RFP's and bids. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and appropriate (SME's) to gather the most current product and program information. Conduct content reviews with SME's, build content and edit work as required. Ensure the content is proofed and packaged for professional delivery.
Manage, enhance, and organize RFP library database (within the Ombud platform) to ensure users are able to navigate system and locate answers with relative ease. Navigation should be simplified so that RFP team members can easily retrieve information with minimal support. Load RFP content and maintain the database with expiration cycles. Edit for style and leverage technology and relationships to improve quality of RFP responses as well as the RFP process.
Migrate existing boilerplate information from internal communications, newsletters, etc. to RFP database system. Coordinate content creation, when necessary to incorporate CSG/CSG Forte writing style, voice and brand into database content.
Work closely with Bid-Management Team to keep them apprised on product (RFP database system) enhancements and releases, as well as updates (new or revised material).
Provide team support and perform backup of duties to ensure accurate and timely delivery of corporate objectives.
Network internally and externally to stay abreast of business trends, corporate and national best practices, and new developments in products/services in the payments industry.
Plan and coordinate other sales-related content, as needed, such as content used in email campaigns run within SalesLoft/SalesForce.
Act as project manager for creating and packaging customer facing documents that include but not limited to Executive Summary, Value Proposition, Technical Solution Description, Service Solution Description, Commercial Proposal, and RFP Compliance Matrix, and relevant Contract document.
Organize an internal bid team with relevant service/technical/business knowledge required to prepare the bid.
Oversee all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, compelling proposals are submitted in a timely manner.
Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid to ensure that all areas have been covered, and that pricing has been accounted for all required costs.
Provide input to the winning bid strategies, service delivery approach and commercial propositions.
Participate in the definition of the initial solution and pricing strategy.
Monitor the sales process for potential exposures in the technical and commercial response to the customer.
Interpret and channel the right resource engagement to clear up any uncertainty during a sales pursuit.
Identify potential problems during sales pursuit. You will escalate to the proper channel for speedy and timely resolutions.
Oversee the maintenance and continued evolution of proposal content database and tools.
Share global best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with sales teams to develop solutioning, proposals and negotiation strategies to maximize bid win rates.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of proposal writing, technical writing, business communications, or related experience.
Experience working with an RFP management software
Built meaningful relationships across a company and the ability to influence outcomes
A task and deadline-driven mindset involves consistent reprioritization and requires collaborative and independent work.
A strong business acumen and are comfortable working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.

Position Pay Range:
This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$78,576.21-$125,721.94This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
