Project Manager, Online Learning

POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager, Online Learning is a critical role that connects AWHONN content and services to the institution and/or group purchasers in the AWHONN Learning Management System. The position includes collaboration in and assisting in developing strategy with a focus on identifying services and content that can be leveraged to meet the clinical education needs of Institutional customers and the financial and budgetary needs of the organization. This individual has a strong ability to connect and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders, including education, technology, marketing, and sales teams, to ensure successful delivery and implementation of AWHONN content. A minimum of three years project management experience is required, and work with healthcare associations and instructional design expertise is a plus.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management – 85%
- Serve as project manager for education projects (as assigned). Includes establishment of
timeline for project components; coordination of team members; identification of
barriers; quality improvement reviews and content editing; budget forecasting and tracking
- Maintenance of document delivery to external vendors, including prepping files for narrators and copy editors and reviewing vendor’s work for quality and accuracy.
- Assisting the Instructional Design team and LMS Team, as needed, to facilitate the delivery of the education on time and on budget.
- Conduct project learning reviews and identify and share best practice across AWHONN departments.
- Develop communication and change management plans with the project team.
- Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken.
- Manage the collection and reporting of clear, consistent, and standard data for the project.
- Serve as liaison between team members and functional area management or organizational leadership.
- Provides customer support, as required, for educational products to ensure quality experience for institutional and individual clients.
Customer Support – 15%
- Assist with customer support inquiries, as required, as part of the product sales and fulfillment processes.

Provide ongoing professional mentoring within the organization, assist in the expansion of learning, translation of clinical expertise to non-clinical staff, and provide tools to help build knowledge, skills, and growth capacity. Serve as a knowledgeable resource for new and current staff. Promote a positive work environment for all staff and effectively collaborate with the leadership team.
SUPERVISION
Works independently under the guidance of the Vice President of Analytics, Operations, Policy, and Strategic Initiatives. Receives guidance on clarification and interpretation of policies of the organization. Work is occasionally reviewed …
