Job Summary:Join the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), Office of Statewide Communications and Public Affairs as a Program Specialist - to support the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program! In this key role, you'll be a subject matter expert for assigned programs, ensuring compliance by staying up-to-date on all relevant statutes, regulations, and policies. You'll develop operating procedures, create manuals, and contribute to program planning. A strong analytical skillset is crucial, as you'll collect, analyze, and monitor contractor data to evaluate performance. You'll also share your expertise by developing and conducting technical training and regularly presenting data and updates to stakeholders. This position involves preparing reports and presentations, actively participating in process improvement initiatives, and providing specialized technical assistance and consultation to providers throughout Arizona. Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel is required.

Job Duties:- Monitor contractor/provider performance against contract and federal requirements and prepare reports and guidance based on results, including development and presentation of technical training sessions
- Track and analyze complex data and prepare a variety of reports
- Develop and maintain regular reports and data analysis of assigned programs
- Responsible for meeting program goals and objectives on schedule
- Compile and tabulate statewide data and assist in any research needs of the program
- Provide technical, policy and regulatory guidance and direction to statewide contractors administering the assigned programs
