We are hiring a Program Quality Senior Manager to lead and elevate aerospace quality standards. In this role, you'll act as the key link between a major customer and Collins Aerospace, addressing complex quality challenges and driving impactful improvements. You'll influence key outcomes and shape both customer satisfaction and internal processes. What You will do 

  • Mentor Program Quality professionals.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between a key customer and Collins Aerospace to address quality concerns.

  • Act as a key member of the Value Stream (VS) team, focusing on the prompt resolution of quality issues.

  • Define and communicate improvement plans and progress to both the organization and customers to enhance customer satisfaction and internal metrics.

  • Lead investigations to ensure compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, contractual, customer, and business requirements.

  • Resolve conflicts and clarify requirement flow-down.

  • Drive strategic initiatives and processes to develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality control systems and protocols. 

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. 

Qualifications We Prefer 

  • Extensive experience in quality management within the aerospace industry.

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality issues.

  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, configuration assurance, and contractual requirements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Experience in driving strategic quality initiatives and improvements. 

  • Manufacturing and/or Engineering experience with knowledge of engineering drawing requirements.

  • Experience with the review of contractual requirements.

  • AS9100D or other Industry Standard experience.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
