Program Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of dedicated program(s) including the program plan, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and/or resource needs for complex programs.
- Communicates the program status and risk to relevant stakeholders and holds them accountable for following the established schedule, risk mitigation plans, and processes
- Defines and tracks the success criteria and performance metrics] and Key Performance Indicators for the program.
- Works with cross-functional (e.g., GTM, product, delivery) stakeholders to design compliant complex programs from initiation to delivery, with minimal coaching.
- Produces collateral (e.g., proposals, strategy walking deck, executive reports) to communicate program status and tracking.
- Identifies and scopes opportunities to develop new programs and improve current ones. Identifies and provides solutions to root problems (e.g., root-cause analysis), defines the program strategy, gathers program requirements, identifies resource needs, creates the project plan and targets, and works across teams to align on the defined program plan.
- Drives clarity in complex program issues and strives for simplification.
Knowledge
- Expert-level knowledge of coordinating and monitoring projects/programs from initiation through delivery.
- Expert-level knowledge of all areas of business operations and organizational interactions.
- Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills. Trained in project methodologies or comparable industry experience.
- Experienced in the development of project/program planning elements, including scheduling, resourcing, communication, and implementation of plans.
- Financial skills to develop, track, and report on the program budget.
- Ability to develop, maintain, and report on schedules in MS Project or other similar tools.
- Expert understanding of risk analysis, project reporting, and tracking.
- Experience with industry-recognized project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to manage matrixed program teams in diverse environments.
- Proficient with Visio and MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and complex problem-solving.
- Ability to work autonomously with limited coaching.
- Creative thinking and the ability to ‘think outside the box’ are ESSENTIAL.
- Ability to communicate complex info and ideas in a simplified manner.
- Ability to apply varying leadership skills and traits that create solutions and results to unexpected situations.
- Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups.
- Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- A High School Diploma or regional equivalent is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in a field related to the role. At the manager’s discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute degree requirements.
- A minimum of 8 years of program management experience in the technology industry.
- Project certification is a plus (PMP, Six Sigma, etc.)
Physical Demands/Travel
- General office environment.
- May require long periods of sitting and viewing a computer monitor.
- Moderate levels of stress may occur at times.
- No special physical demands are required.
- Occasional domestic travel, less than 10%.
The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: $105,100 - $154,110The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $111,800 - $164,010The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City, and Washington is: $122,500 - $179,630
Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
