Product Training Specialist
Exterro is seeking a Product Training Specialist with expertise in designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive product training. In this role you will use the Navattic tool and leverage the Exterro platform environment to create and conduct training sessions across the global organization. This role will work closely with product, product marketing, and solution engineering teams to ensure that all training content is current, accurate, and aligned with Exterro’s product offerings. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of training formats, including virtual and in-person sessions, to cater to the diverse needs of different sales and customer-facing teams such as BDRs, AEs, SEs, CSMs, and PS. This position plays a critical role in maintaining an up-to-date and scalable product training program that supports Exterro’s fast-paced environment and frequent product releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Training Creation:
Design, build, and manage interactive product training modules using the Navattic tool to ensure an engaging learning experience.
Develop role-specific training content, including for BDRs, AEs, SEs, CSMs, PS, and leadership, ensuring each role has the appropriate level of depth in product training.
Collaborate with product, product marketing, and SE teams to continuously update product training materials in line with product releases and updates.
Create training programs that cover product fundamentals as well as advanced features, providing a clear pathway for reps to build proficiency.
Use adult learning principles to develop varied content (e.g., videos, e-learning modules, guides, simulations) that caters to different learning styles.
Delivery of Product Training:
Deliver product training to internal stakeholders virtually and in-person to demonstrate product features, functionality, and use cases.
Facilitate engaging live virtual sessions to showcase the platform’s capabilities and answer questions in real time.
Provide in-person product training at company offices, conferences, or customer-facing events.
Develop a schedule and manage the delivery of regular training sessions, ensuring reps are equipped with the knowledge to effectively sell, implement, and support the product.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product management, product marketing, and SE teams to ensure product training is consistently updated with the latest product releases, enhancements, and features.
Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams to gather feedback on training effectiveness and areas for improvement.
Partner with product marketing and SE teams to ensure that product messaging is effectively incorporated into training materials.
LMS Integration & Reporting:
Ensure that all product training content is uploaded to the Learning Management System (LMS) for easy access by all internal teams.
Track learner engagement and performance in the LMS and provide regular reports to leadership on training effectiveness.
Continuously assess the need for new training resources and update existing materials based on feedback and new product features.
Ongoing Training & Support:
Provide ongoing support and refresher training sessions to reinforce product knowledge, especially after new product releases.
Gather feedback from training participants to refine content and delivery methods.
Actively participate in continuous improvement processes for product training content, ensuring training remains relevant and engaging.

Collaboration & Cross-functional Partnership - Ability to work closely with product, product marketing, and SE teams to gather insights and keep training materials aligned with product releases and organizational goals.
Technical Proficiency with Navattic or Similar Platform - Comfortable using and teaching others to use Navattic as the primary tool for product training delivery.
Adaptability & Learning Agility - Quick to adapt and iterate on training materials to reflect new product features, releases, and business objectives.
Presentation & Facilitation Skills - Confident and effective at delivering both virtual and in-person training sessions to various internal stakeholders.
Communication & Feedback - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex product features into clear and actionable training content.
This role is US-based. Candidates can be located anywhere in the continental US, and would need to travel to our office in the Dallas area at least once per quarter for training events.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Instructional Design, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience in product training, instructional design, or a related role, ideally within SaaS.
Proven experience with the Navattic tool or similar interactive product training platforms.
Experience working with sales, product, and technical teams to deliver training content.
Strong presentation skills, both in-person and virtually.
Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and integrating product training content.
Understanding of adult learning principles and how to apply them to training content creation.
Experience in sales and sales enablement or training for technical products.
Familiarity with agile methodologies or product development cycles in a SaaS environment.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency and strive to create a fair and equitable workplace for all employees. As a remote first organization, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base salary range for this remote position is $70,000 - $85,000 per year, based on skills, experience and qualifications. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Exterro is a total compensation company, and this role may be eligible for variable pay, equity, bonus and/or other forms of compensation as part of the package. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, flexible paid time off and more.
