This role will collaborate cross functionally with leadership from Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Customer Success, and Operations in order to drive scalability and high performance in our Product organization. It will do so by streamlining the flow of customer insights to our teams, establishing processes that connect product delivery to company goals, and providing our teams with access to high-quality data for strategic decision-making.

Compensation: $125,000 - $165,000 / year
Description
Coursedog is looking for a dynamic product operations leader to optimize our product development lifecycle and ensure that our Product team is equipped with the tools, insights, and processes necessary to deliver a best in class customer experience.This role will collaborate cross functionally with leadership from Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Customer Success, and Operations in order to drive scalability and high performance in our Product organization. It will do so by streamlining the flow of customer insights to our teams, establishing processes that connect product delivery to company goals, and providing our teams with access to high-quality data for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities & Impact
- Process Optimization: Design, implement, enforce, and continuously refine operational processes to support the product & engineering teams and improve efficiency & customer impact in product development and delivery. Work with product & engineering leadership to define the operating rhythm of the organization.
- Plan, coordinate, and drive discipline around the processes for testing, launching and rolling out new products and features.
- Ensure consistent and thorough testing of product features and workflows, reducing the risk of issues post-launch.
- Systems Administration: Implement, architect, and administer technologies that enhance product & engineering team productivity and collaboration, particularly Jira, product analytics tools like Mixpanel/Pendo/Amplitude, and related roadmapping add-ons.
- Data Management & Reporting: Own maintenance, access, and visibility of internally and externally generated data, ensuring insights are actionable and align with business goals by building dashboards that leverage data from disparate sources.
- Internal Metrics: Define, track, and analyze KPIs related to product performance & quality, team execution & efficiency, and customer satisfaction: product profitability, spend allocation, sprint delivery, etc.
- Customer Feedback: Establish channels for gathering quantitive and qualitative customer and product usage data to generate insights into promote data-driven decisions.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Build and continuously improve engagement models between Engineering, Product, and Design teams with go-to-market (GTM) teams, fostering a collaborative environment that accelerates the successful launch and adoption of Coursedog products.
- Artifact Documentation: Manage and maintain comprehensive documentation of product & engineering workflows, processes, and decisions to enable alignment and transparency.
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives that involve the rollout of new processes, tools, and methodologies within the product & engineering team, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption.
What You Bring
Must Have
- 5+ years of experience in product/R&D operations within a B2B SaaS environment, ideally at a high growth company with a multi-product portfolio
- Jira subject matter expertise; you’ve have directly architected and administered a Jira instance. Ideally you have experience migrating PDE teams into Jira from scratch.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards using BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar.
- Demonstrated track record designing, implementing, and optimizing processes to augment the product development lifecycles, with the ability to drive adoption across cross-functional teams.
- Strong ability to synthesize data from multiple sources, ensuring alignment with business goals, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills; you’re a model and numbers person who excels in leveraging data to provide actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to define, track, and analyze performance metrics, including product profitability, sprint delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, flat environment with a focus on continuous improvement, ownership, and adaptability.
