Product Manager II - Consumer Trading

What You Will Be Doing:
- Enhance Critical User Journeys: Lead the development of features aimed at improving critical user journeys for traders. Identify pain points and user motivations to make trading, which some think is complex and scary, into an easy and delightful product
- Build a Roadmap: Understand trading behaviors and market trends to conceptualize and implement a roadmap that enables derivatives traders to unlock new strategies on web, mobile (iOS/Android), and through API
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Define metrics and run experiments to evaluate CUJ efficiency and trading execution. Leverage data to continuously optimize product features
- Own product development from conception to launch, iterating along the way until you create the world’s best products for leverage and hedging
- Scale and grow usage, ensuring users have access to the products when needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, marketing and cross-functional teams to develop and steer product roadmap
- Define and analyze metrics to guide product development
- Align teams on a shared vision and steer execution on that vision
- 5+ years of product management experience, including experience working on consumer products
- Expertise in trading and a strong grasp of financial concepts (i.e. markets, derivative instruments, trading strategies)
- Experience building 0 to 1 products with high ambiguity and creatively solving problems given any constraint without giving up
- Strong design sense about product decisions and an understanding of how to create delightful experiences
- Ability to influence and shape strategic decisions/discussions
- Experience working with and balancing the needs of a wide variety of stakeholders including users, design, and UXR using both qualitative and quantitative data
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Aptitude for learning and ability to ramp quickly on new and potentially complicated domains
- Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and the Coinbase mission
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in brokerage, market-making, institutional trading, or derivatives products (options, futures, perps, event contracts)
- Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services
