Job Description:
As the Insurance Product Manager for the Conversion Accelerator Toolkit US at DXC Technology's Insurance Software and BPS business (ISB), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our extensive portfolio of tools and products and leading a team of talented individuals to ensure our offerings meet the evolving needs of our clients. With multiple products across various product lines, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation, optimize product performance, and shape the future of the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Portfolio Management:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of the Conversion Accelerator insurance product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, strategy and development to prioritize product roadmap initiatives and drive product development efforts.
Team Leadership and Resource Management:
- Manage a team of 1-2 product management professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive individual and team success.
- Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and ensure timely delivery of product initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the product management team.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of insurance products and product lines.
- Utilize data-driven insights to track product metrics, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to optimize product performance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs and preferences and translate insights into actionable strategies to enhance product competitiveness.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term product strategies and objectives, driving initiatives to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
- Champion the adoption of best practices in product management, leveraging industry expertise and market insights to maintain DXC's competitive edge in the insurance sector.
- Lead product launch activities, ensuring effective go-to-market strategies and successful product adoption by target customers.
