Product Manager - Assure Platform

Job Description:

As the Platform Product Management Leader for Assure Platform at DXC Technology's Insurance Software and BPS business (ISB), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our platform strategy and execution while meeting the evolving needs of our clients. With multiple products across various product lines, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation, develop shared services, and shape the overall strategy of our Platform Architecture and Services in a SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assure Platform Product Management: Lead the strategic planning, backlog, and Roadmap execution of the Assure Platform strategy, services and architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives, clients and market demands.  These Platform Services include (but not limited to):

  • Ecosystem Partnerships – work with the Partnership, Marketing and Leadership stakeholders to identify partners & support the standards, security, criteria, etc. to support our partners.
  • APIs and Integrations – maintain the catalog of API’s and Integrations while developing and maintaining an effect roadmap and backlog.  Provide strategic input and recommendations for
  • Service-Oriented Products and Solutions:  create and maintain catalog of service-oriented solutions such as business components, functional services, shared services, macro and micro-services.
  • UX/UA Design Systems  - oversee and drive enhancements to our UI/UX Platform
  • AI and Data Services – Ensure AI and Data Services are integrated effectively in the Platform.
  • Cloud Services – ensure our IaaS services support the platform and customer needs
  • Tools and Accelerators – manage the catalog and backlog of services that accelerate adoption
  • Reference Architecture – ensure reusable patterns are established, published and monitored

Team Leadership and Resource Management:

  • Manage a team of 4-8 product management professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive individual and team success.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and ensure timely delivery of product initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the product management team.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of insurance products and product lines.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to track product metrics, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to optimize product performance.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term product strategies and objectives, driving initiatives to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
  • Champion the adoption of best practices in product management, leveraging industry expertise and market insights to maintain DXC's competitive edge in the insurance sector.
  • Lead product launch activities, ensuring effective go-to-market strategies and successful product adoption by target customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with several years’ experience in Insurance, a strong technical background, and at least 3 years in a leadership role within the SaaS Platform Portfolio
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex product portfolios and driving product innovation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with using and configuring AHA! a big plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
  • Deep understanding of insurance industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in product management methodologies and tools.

Must have a Valid Indefinite US Work Permit

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $131,300 - $243,800.
