The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As a Product Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Oversees product development, execution, and sustaining development activities. This will also include product ownership and strategy responsibilities to help drive product growth and adoption. 
  • Provide direct technical supervision to assigned staff, which includes hiring, establishing, and tracking goals and objectives, team assignment, training, and facilitating the performance review process
  • Must be comfortable in fast paced agile environment with challenging deadlines and be able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities while championing Agile principles and methodologies. Accountable for ensuring timely, high quality product releases.
  • Responsible for ensuring team members are mentored on duties such as analysis, design, coding, debugging, automation and testing, documentation, support, maintenance, managing releases and updates.
  • Provide program management leadership for critical Revenue Cycle product development initiatives that includes working with cross-functional teams, working directly with Product Owners, Business Leaders, Sales, Engineers, and Architects to assist in making informed decisions related to technology and best practices

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 7 years of software industry experience  

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from AND 12 years of software industry experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • 7 years’ experience working with Agile-based software development teams
  • Experience leading a diverse product development team through business requirements, design, implementation, test and support
  • Experience working with healthcare client IT organizations including a working knowledge of healthcare client IT organizations processes and practices
  • Seven (7) years of leadership experience in a technical or healthcare setting
  • Experience with 3M Health Information Systems products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Strong negotiation, influence, and cooperation management skills
  • Strong project management skills with an attention to details
  • Knowledge of coding, testing, CI/CD, and software lifecycle management to ensure high quality, maintainable product
  • Ability to provide product vision that aligns technical execution with business goals

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
