We are seeking a Procurement Specialist Energy – Remote.  This remote position is based out of our Richland, WA office.

How will you contribute to the team?  

  • Ensures flow down of ES&H, QA, FAR/DEAR, 2 CFR 200 and 2 CFR 910, and Prime Contract requirements to contractors.

  • Monitors Subrecipient and Subcontractor compliance to agreements and flow downs.

  • Supports the Client and Program Management.

  • Facilitates continuous improvement process.

  • Responsible for the development, management and administration of subcontracts and purchase orders.

  • Manages the Agreement(s) with the Client.

  • Evaluates Vendor bids using cost and price analysis strategies.

  • Provides coordination of project procurement.

  • Maintains work authorization between other subcontractors.

  • Develops monthly, quarterly and annual funding and cost data for the Project Manager.

  • Manages the development and implementation of the Procurement Manual and procedures.

  • Provides reports required by the Prime contract with the Government and as requested by the Management.

  • Stops work without the fear of reprisal for unsafe conditions potentially affecting personnel safety or environmental risk.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What will you contribute?  

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting or other relevant field.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement and contract administration, including administration of complex contracts and purchase orders within the nuclear, utilities and/or construction industries. 7 years' experience preferred.

  • Must have experience procuring subcontract services.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to create and maintain effective working relationships.

  • Strong orientation for internal and external customers.

  • Understanding of 2 CFR 200 and 2 CFR 910.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint.

  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) status and National Contract Management Association (NCMA) membership preferred, but not required.

  • Must be a U.S citizen in order to be considered.

Expected compensation range is between $77,000 to $129,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.  

Upon acceptance of an offer, all candidates must go through a drug screen test and background check. AtkinsRéalis is a federal contractor which mandates a satisfactory background screening report and drug test that supersedes state laws.
