The Procurement Operations Manager will be responsible for the governance, creating, implementing and managing procurement processes, policy, metrics and operations. He/she will work on continued spend analysis and tracking, establishing and driving KPIs, and ensuring Veeam procurement is aware of/following/setting latest trends. This role is to work with all procurement related technology suppliers, such as Coupa, to provide our team with the best possible systems. The individual will also be responsible and involved in the high visibility special cross-functional projects and will report to the Sr. Director, Procurement & Travel.

Responsibilities:

• Own and improve upon our corporate spend analysis platform, including recommendations of a best-in-class 3rd party spend supplier
• Identify improvement opportunities in the 3rd party spend structure
• Establish KPI’s, vendor scorecards and management oversight for business partners
• Drive internal audit process
• Build and own corporate procurement metrics/savings dashboard
• Complete ongoing internal and industry benchmarking and ensure Veeam procurement is aware of / following / setting latest trends
• Work closely with Veeam Corporate Technology (CT) & Finance teams to ensure procurement and finance systems are working well
• Lead communication and training of procurement related initiatives for the business
• Act as a Project Management Office (PMO) for procurement leadership for special projects
• Support Finance with ‘closing’ activities/data needed from Coupa & Veeam internal business partners
• Drive Procurement, Sourcing & Travel excellence. Lead in a Center of Excellence role
• Liaison between Procurement and internal and external stakeholders

Desired Skills and Experience

• An ideal candidate would be experienced driving transformations, rolling out new processes and tools, with a good understanding of running a budget, costs and costs savings implications tied to running a budget
• 3+ years of related experience in procurement
• High experience with P2P software such as Coupa or Ariba
• Demonstrate mid-management level communication, relationship management, and influencing skills
• Understanding of procurement spend management and categories, financial models, costs, etc.
• Demonstrate procurement market awareness, ability to complete supplier and industry research and provide recommendations based on findings
• Proven ability of strategic thinking with an emphasis on process, policy, data and communication
• Ability to facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines, work across business units, participate in cross-functional team projects, and respond quickly to management requests
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with other functional areas of the organization, working in a matrixed global environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project managerial and interpersonal skills
• PMO experience needed for special projects
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or Economics

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
