Position Description: 

We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager who is ready to roll up their sleeves and lead the development of this strategic data platform from 0→1—and beyond.

 

As the Principal Product Manager for the Data Platform, you will be the driving force behind the vision, strategy, and execution of a connected data experience across our product suite. You’ll partner deeply with engineering, design, GTM, and cross-functional product teams to build a scalable foundation that powers internal analytics, customer intelligence, and new data-driven product capabilities.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role. You’ll be working closely with executive leadership and influencing roadmaps across the company.

 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product management, with a deep expertise in working with large data sets, data infrastructure, and analytics platforms. You must have the ability to think strategically and execute at scale, ensuring that our products deliver exceptional and differentiated value.

What We’re Looking For:

Requirements:

 • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience in a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

• 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years of experience leading data-centric product teams or data platforms.

• Expertise in managing and working with large data sets, including experience with data infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.

• Proven track record of developing and scaling data-driven products or features that have a measurable impact on business performance.

• Strong technical knowledge of data engineering, data architecture, and database systems.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven, analytical approach to decision-making.

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

• Familiarity with machine learning, AI, or advanced analytics products.

• Experience with customer-facing product features, especially in SaaS or B2B contexts.

• Data-savvy: Deep understanding of business intelligence tools, modern data stacks and real-world analytics use cases.

• Enterprise fluent: Comfortable navigating the complexity of ERP/CRM/other large-scale enterprise systems.

• Strategic systems thinker: You can see the big picture and sweat the details—balancing long-term vision with near-term delivery.

• Customer obsessed: You care deeply about user experience, whether it’s a developer integrating with your APIs or an analyst generating insights.

• Influential collaborator: You build strong relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders. People want to follow your lead.

• Execution-oriented: You know how to ship—translating strategy into action and driving results in fast-moving environments.

• Bonus points if you’ve worked in a multi-product or M&A driven environment

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

• Define & own the platform strategy: Build and articulate a clear roadmap for a modern, scalable data platform that unifies our ecosystem of products.

• Connect the dots: Drive seamless data interoperability across enterprise systems to power analytics, reporting, and embedded intelligence.

• Lead discovery & research: Identify customer and stakeholder needs around data integration, enterprise reporting, and analytics use cases.

• Champion platform thinking: Build reusable components, APIs, and services that enable product teams to tap into unified data sources effortlessly.

• Drive cross-functional alignment: Partner with engineering, data science, security, compliance, GTM, and customer success to prioritize and deliver key capabilities.

• Establish best practices: Define frameworks and standards for data governance, API usability, and analytics instrumentation across our product suite.
