What do we do?

Paddle offers SaaS companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.

We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 3000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The Role:

The Price Intelligently team at Paddle advises some of the world's top SaaS companies on their most critical subscription pricing, packaging, and growth challenges. As part of this team, you will work directly with our clients to deeply understand their challenges, immerse yourself in data, identify insights, and craft recommendations to drive growth.

As a Pricing Analyst on the Price Intelligently team, you are the ultimate data and analysis expert. You will design high-quality market research and lead data analysis to extract critical insights for our clients. You will work with a small team on client projects and engage regularly with senior leadership.

The salary band for this role is $75,000-$95,000 + bonus.

What you'll do:

  • Use your critical thinking and creativity to be the source of devising strategic recommendations for our clients, including go-to-market, monetization optimization, and product development recommendations

  • Design and build market research surveys, following best practices and utilizing tools such as Qualtrics

  • Responsible for cleaning data from disparate sources, including data wrangling and in-depth analysis

  • In supporting the consultants and senior members of the team, present your data-driven recommendations to C-suite and Senior Executives at a client organization

  • Drive project execution, including clearly and concisely communicating with internal and external key stakeholders about project statuses

  • Serve as a product owner, taking initiative to drive improvements from the front line, including streamlining processes, building out new capabilities, improving visualizations, creating better storytelling, and everything else that could feasibly make our pricing offering better

We'd love to hear from you:

  • Have experience with market research, data cleaning, and/or performing in-depth data analyses.

  • Love working with data in Excel and perhaps have knowledge of tools and languages like Python, SQL, etc.

  • Are proactive in problem-solving and comfortable completing tasks with significant ambiguity

  • Enjoy all aspects of strategy development, from experimental design to client presentation

  • Have prior data analysis experience in a professional capacity, preferably in technology, SaaS, consulting, financial services, investment banking, private equity, or other industries requiring critical and strategic thinking

  • Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience

  • Interested in limited travel for client meetings (~5% of time).
