What You’ll Contribute

  • Conduct discovery sessions with clients to understand their current business challenges and growth strategies. 

  • Create and deliver detailed and customized product demonstrations, helping to craft sales strategies and tactics when appropriate. 

  • Work with multiple FICO product teams to design product and service solutions to meet client’s business needs. 

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand client needs, challenges, and goals, and develop tailored technical solutions to address these. 

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and stay up to date with industry trends and advancements to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients. 

  • Lead and participate in technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for clients, illustrating how our solutions can solve their business problems. 

  • Design and create proof of concepts, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and prepare sales package proposals. 

  • Utilize Software packages falling into the following categories: Business Rule Management Systems (Blaze Advisor), Optimization packages, Predictive analytics, model management, and data mining, Data visualization and exploration, Packages for Business Process Management (BPM) Rapid Application Development (RAD), Business Intelligence (BI), Business analysis techniques including requirements capture and business process and decision modelling.   

 

What We’re Seeking 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 

  • Experience in pre-sales consulting role with proven success in supporting sales and/or delivering creative solutions that add value to the client’s business objectives. Experience with PaaS and SaaS industry is a plus. 

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders- from technical resources to C-level executive management. 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated through presentation development and delivery experience, including webinar delivery skills. 

  • Proven problem-solving skills as demonstrated by examples of creative and forward-thinking solutions to business issues. 

  • Familiarity with programming languages including Java, Python, R, etc. 

  • Possess strong knowledge of credit decisioning and optimization use cases retail banking (Customer management, Account Management, Collection, Cross Sell/Upsell, Application and Transactional Fraud).  

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders- from technical resources to C-level executive management. 

  • Ability to work with others cross functionally as part of sales team. 

  • 25% Travel (US and Canada). 

  • The following skills are a plus - understanding of analytic modelling concepts, data manipulation, decision modelling methodology and programming constructs of multiple languages, big data technologies, AWS, containerized software applications (Docker & Kubernetes). 

  • Industry knowledge of Financial Services and Insurance is a plus.
