No coding experience is required. Just design, publish, measure and monetize.

The role

Infinite Reality is looking to bring on a Pipeline TD / 3D Generalist for the Builder Team. This is a remote position within the continental US, and you'll report directly to the Director of Engineering. You will play a key role in building and managing our massive in-house asset library, which we use to create high-quality 3D assets. You'll be the bridge between our artists and developers, optimizing and organizing assets for use in immersive virtual environments. You'll also work closely with the content team to scale our asset library significantly, and directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality digital content, and drive innovation.

What you’ll do

• Asset Pipeline Development: Design and implement robust pipelines for handling, optimizing, and organizing 3D assets—including models, textures, shaders, and more—for use in immersive environments.
• Quality & Format Assurance: Ensure assets meet high-quality standards, are efficiently formatted, and are ready for integration into our world-building systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with artists and developers to streamline asset workflows and integrate creative content seamlessly into production.
• Scaling the Library: Partner with the content team to grow our asset library ensuring scalability and consistent quality.
• Process Optimization: Continuously refine asset management processes and tools to improve efficiency and support rapid development cycles.

What you’ll bring

• Proven Experience: 5+ years in 3D graphics production, pipeline development, or a related role, ideally within an immersive or gaming environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in 3D asset optimization and management, with hands-on experience in tools like Maya, Blender, or similar 3D modeling software.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively as the bridge between creative teams (artists) and technical teams (developers).
• Process Improvement: A track record of designing and streamlining workflows to manage large volumes of assets efficiently.
• Adaptability: A growth mindset and eagerness to stay at the cutting edge of emerging 3D technologies and digital production techniques.

We’ll be extra pumped if you have

• Experience with procedural asset generation or integration of AI-driven content tools.
• Knowledge of real-time rendering engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Familiarity with cloud-based asset management solutions and best practices.
• A portfolio that showcases your ability to optimize and scale 3D asset pipelines.

Base pay will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, certifications, experience, market demands, and locations.
