Pharmacy Implementation Specialist

Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Implementation Specialist supports new market implementation through planning, coordination and execution of implementation needs and deliverables in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
- Lead and execute all aspects of new market implementation in coordination with appropriate internal and external stakeholders including Implementation Pharmacist
- Serve as Pharmacy Subject Matter Expert and representative for assigned market implementation
- Maintain detailed project plans, reports, business decision documentation, meeting minutes, and notifications on assigned work and maintain related documentation for each market/product
- Provide weekly status reports to stakeholders and leadership on holistic implementation progress.
- Ensure the completion of necessary signoffs for on time deliveries.
- Collaborate with Implementation Pharmacist to host cross-functional weekly status meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify, log, assign, and manage risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate / escalate to implementation team members and cross functional partners.
- Responsible to ensure all tasks are documented, tracked and executed including, but not limited to, testing plans/scenarios, market requirements documented and tested (when applicable) and support is given to execute all tasks associated with assigned implementations
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of relevant experience is required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in pharmacy market implementation execution and oversight required
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in Medicare, Marketplace and/or Medicaid lines of business required
- Experience working in project management is required.
- Deep pharmacy knowledge, PBM knowledge and pharmacy market implementations required

- Extensive understanding of pharmacy workflow and implementations, project management processes, techniques and tools, and overall implementation lifecycle
- Proven ability to multi-task, be flexible and work cross functionally on a wide variety of projects while prioritizing work and team assignments to deliver projects on time, on budget, and meeting stakeholder expectations
- Ability to effectively and efficiently lead a project team
- Excellent planning, negotiating, and influencing skillset

Compensation Range:
$70,800.00 - $113,200.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
