Collins Aerospace is seeking a dynamic PC Refresh Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our PC lifecycle management by preparing and deploying new devices to our end users. ** This position is onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA. **

What YOU will do:

• You will support pc lifecycle management process end to end from preparation to disposal of hardware.

• You will prepare computers and peripherals for shipment.

• You will be the vocal point for issues and escalations related to pc refresh.

• You will monitor advanced shipping notice and hardware equipment delivery from valued added reseller.

• You will provide detailed forecasts for pc hardware needs.

• You will provide reporting and status updates on pc refresh progress and equipment inventory.

Qualifications you must have:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

• Minimum of 3 years managing PC Deployment and/or inventory management.

• Self-motivated, proactive and proven ability to adapt well and work with different teams within organization

• Demonstrated ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.

• Ability to operate as an individual contributor to get the job done

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Must be well organized and able to work effectively under time pressure.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

*This position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
