Compensation:        $67,000.00 - $90,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

Summary

 

OneStream is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Accounting Team. This role will be responsible for processing equity payroll for the organization's global workforce. They handle the timely processing of payroll, timekeeping, accounting, and taxes. This position involves analyzing financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports, and supporting internal and external audits. The role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of equity payroll practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Process global equity payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Processing of bi-weekly and monthly payroll, including data entry of changes, payroll processing, and system maintenance.
  • Audit employee timesheets for hours worked and accuracy.
  • Responsible for the setting up of new entities for employees, setup of pay codes, deductions, taxes and departments.
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Prepares month-end and ad-hoc payroll reports.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations, International statutory regulations, SOX compliance, auditing, and non-discrimination laws.
  • Prepare payroll related journal entries for period-end.
  • Support efforts to solve any payroll problems and discrepancies.
  • Ensure questions from associates and sites are accurately answered and addressed in a timely manner – with a focus on customer service.
  • Collaborates with external vendors related to payroll processing, ensuring effective communication and accuracy of data.
  • Work closely with internal teams including People Ops, Benefits, Finance to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with Ad hoc projects as needed.

 

Required Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Payroll, with a focus on stock compensation.
  • Experience with the following technologies preferred:
    • UKG Pro.
    • Cloudpay.
