What you’ll be doing:

  • Design and oversee Paid Search program, including but not limited to strategy development, attribution & incrementality testing, and setting the bar for excellence & expertise on paid search channel initiatives

  • Campaign Launches: keyword & ad copy development/expansion/testing, tracking set-up and the ability to provide instructions & QA tracking for all tools and engines.

  • Campaign Management: negative keyword strategy, website & category exclusions, URL audits, keyword/ad text expansion, conflicting negatives, GDN, YouTube, and Pmax campaigns (contextual, placement, & remarketing).

  • Budget Management: manage daily budget tracking process to make sure monthly spending levels are on pace.

  • Bid Management: implement bid rule strategy and optimization efforts at campaign, ad group, & keyword levels. Daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/ bid optimizations.

  • AB Testing: actively work to test keywords, ad copy, & landing pages, beta and 3rd party vendor tool testing.

  • Owning client service: must be capable of communicating with clients whether through email or video calls with minimal oversight, adept at cultivating strong working relationships, accountable for program success & failures.

  • Daily use of reporting, analytics, and trend tools

  • Effectively prioritizes efforts to focus on delivering on the most important things tracks and reports on campaign results, data analysis and participate in weekly client calls.

  • Remain up to date on the latest developments in Google/Microsoft Ads landscape, vet and recommend opportunities to clients.

  • Mentor and effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities to junior members on the team, overseeing all basic tactical execution and campaign audits

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related work experience in Paid Search

  • Executive-level presentation experience with a strong ability to communicate campaign strategy, performance, and recommendations effectively

  • Hands on experience in managing monthly campaigns budgets $250k+

  • Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and Google Sheets/Docs

  • Google Ads (Fundamentals & Advanced) Certifications, additional certifications a plus.

  • Experience working in Google Analytics/ GA4

Special Consideration For:

  • Experience working with retail clients or within a retail-focused environment

  • Knowledge of YouTube advertising and best practices

  • Availability during EST/CST time zones for real-time client communication and collaboration

  • Experience working in Google Analytics

The hiring salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000. We also offer an incentive pay program (RevShare) comprising a monthly variable revenue payment opportunity and a discretionary annual performance bonus. 

Hiring salaries are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, parity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
