The media team at Material is fully supported with experienced media strategists & buyers, including a Director and 2 Associate Directors with years of experience at Material. This role is a fully remote position with limited travel needs.

This is a fluid position that will require the ability to flex up or down depending on the need at any given time.

  • Work collaboratively with our Measurement and Insights team to find, develop and apply data in order to inform performance, optimizations and recommendations

  • Work collaboratively across the rest of the media practice; works cross-functionally with other teams like account management and creative; and supports our broader network on things like new business, thought leadership, etc.

  • Coache and mentor junior and identifies key opportunities for their career development; committed to building diverse, capable and curious teams

About You

  • 3-5 years of media planning and buying with current or history of agency experience; has worked with both B2B and B2C clients.

  • Exceptional, operational understanding of current and future state digital media landscape and fundamentals

  • Extensive ability to craft and deliver presentations

    • Expertise in social planning/buying is particularly important

  • Strong understanding of analytics and ad operations/tagging to ensure that all campaigns are structured to generate optimal results

  • Ability to identify, organize, prioritize and manage the workloads for self and junior level media staff

  • Drive to win new business and a desire to collaborate and grow the practice with other senior team members and executive leadership
