What Youâll Do
As the Outside Strategic Account Manager, you will play a critical role in fostering and expanding relationships with our mid-market strategic accounts within a designated geographical territory. Your primary objective will be to drive customer satisfaction, product adoption, and revenue growth through proactive account management and strategic engagement. You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities to enhance their business performance through our financial solutions. This role requires up to 75% travel.Â
- Strategic Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts, understanding their business objectives and challengesÂ
- Revenue Growth & Retention: Achieve or exceed established sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) by identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Client Engagement & Communication: Conduct regular client meetings (both in-person and virtual) to deliver tailored sales and training presentations, ensuring optimal product utilization and satisfaction
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Utilize Salesforce CRM and other data analytics tools to monitor account performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive strategic initiatives
- Action Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive account plans ("playbooks") to maximize product adoption and achieve client success, providing regular progress updates to the Regional Sales DirectorÂ
- Client Advocacy & Problem Resolution: Serve as a proactive liaison between clients and internal teams, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and advocating for client needs to ensure a seamless experience
- Territory Management & Optimization: Efficiently manage a designated geographical territory, conducting regular client visits and maintaining a high volume of meaningful touchpoints (e.g., 120+ monthly)
