Job Summary
The Operations Training Consultant is responsible for training, mentoring, and serving as a consultative technical resource for the underwriting department to ensure the department is providing exceptional customer service to the various customers and partners they support.
Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to assess training needs; designing, implementing, and evaluating education programs for new and existing employees.
Project manage the design and implementation of training materials for the business workflow, policies/procedures, department’s knowledge management site, and customer service skills.
Oversee governance of the knowledge management resources for the department and maintain updates to materials.
Create training materials (including facilitator guides, participant materials, and e-learning courses) to support department training needs.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and adjust as needed to ensure optimal results. Provide coaching and support to employees to reinforce learning and improve performance.
Maintain advanced level of system, industry trends, and process/product knowledge across the various customers and partners that the department supports.
Skills and Background You’ll Need
7 years of progressive experience in employee benefits operations, learning and development, training or equivalent experience.
Moderate understanding of underwriting work as it relates to employee benefits.
Experience designing and delivering training programs for a variety of learning styles and preferences.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Ability to analyze data and evaluate training program effectiveness.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
Salary Range:
$85,750.00 - $125,750.00Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
