What You Will Do:

  • Leads a team of experienced MRT professionals and leaders. Establishes long term objectives and guidelines for managing and monitoring productivity and performance for the MRT organization. Oversees scheduling and sequencing of work, as well as driving production innovation to optimize production.

  • Will own the execution of long-term strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) and the operational direction

  • Will make strategic decisions for the direction of the MRT program related to financial performance and production plans.

  • Will facilitate resource management, analyzing workforce metrics to ensure optimal staffing levels and skill sets for operational needs.

  • Will work with the RSCN Quality Manager and Chief Inspector to manage and ensure all quality related items for MRT are complete and documented so that established quality standards are met.

  • Will lead cost reduction efforts and process improvements to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.

  • Will oversee materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.

  • Will Establish performance objectives and leads department performance and productivity.

  • Will lead process innovation for the department to enhance production capabilities.

  • Will represent the organization as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders in order to present a positive image of the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

  • US Citizenship or US Person Status required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business or Engineering degree

  • Experience leading remote teams

  • Experience with Customer facing roles

This role is:

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
