OpenShift Sales Specialist - Enterprise

Red Hat is looking to hire an OpenShift Sales Specialist - Enterprise to join the team in the East Region. In this role, you will drive the adoption of Red Hat's Application Platform and Cloud Services solutions with our enterprise customers and our partners. You will help them develop a scalable and repeatable methodology for moving and/or developing new applications across the hybrid-cloud landscape. You will demonstrate how to do this more efficiently and effortlessly using open source and the Red Hat portfolio. You will work closely with your teammates to meet demanding growth targets for the company. The ideal candidate will have a balance of Cloud and Application Development expertise and an understanding of customers' business problems/challenges. In this role, you will be constantly learning about new technologies in Application Development, AI, and Cloud and how they can be applied to solve enterprise challenges.
What you will do:
Sell Red Hat's OpenShift portfolio by generating opportunities in a designated set of accounts or territory.
Contribute to selling and marketing strategies in the OpenShift and Cloud Services portfolio
Promote Red Hat's value proposition to prospective customers
Meet both quantitative and qualitative performance expectations
Collaborate with the broader sales organization to advance opportunities
Build relationships of trust with key customer decision makers and influencers
What you will bring:
5+ years of experience in a solutions sales role
Extensive technical sales experience in Cloud or Application Development or AI
Track record of successfully achieving sales goals and targets
Proven ability to understand customers' business objectives and identify pain points in order to produce a recommendation that addresses those business objectives
Excellent communication skills that adapt to different levels of an organization such as engineering, finance, operations, sales, business, and executive levels
Balance of strategic, tactical, and technical, as well as creative thinking skills
Proven ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams
Passion for open source technology
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
