As NOC Engineer you will provide support to internal customers. We expect you to be engage with processes improvement and best practices implementation, as well as sharing your knowledge and ideas with the rest of the team.

Essential Job Functions:
 

  • Monitor the performance, availability, and security of systems in a production environment using monitoring tools during an 8-hour shift.
  • Respond promptly to alerts and correspondence, employing problem-solving skills to resolve outages or issues.
  • Manage tickets in accordance with SLAs.
  • Handle ongoing incidents, following procedures to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Thoroughly document issues or outages within a ticketing system for documentation purposes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role in IT support.
  • Experience collaborating with others in an IT environment is desirable.
  • Willingness to continuously learn about cloud technologies, network communication protocols, and best practices through self-study, training programs, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Understanding of Windows operating systems and networking is a plus.
  • Previous experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Nice to have experience in improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, reliability, and security.
