The National Mathematics Consultant drives revenue by delivering persuasive and competitive sales presentations, provides product training by conducting program overviews and focused follow-up training, and performs high quality professional development in the field.
What you'll do here:
Deliver persuasive and competitive sales presentations and product trainings live and via web.
Communicate with customer and work with account executives to understand client needs and transfer this knowledge to pre-sales, sales, and post-sales environments.
Customizes the sales message with awareness of customer needs, campaign issues, and competitive knowledge.
Appropriately adjusts to responses and needs of audience.
Works to refine and develop market, curriculum, and product knowledge by reading the market, recognizing trends, determining customer needs, and communicating effectively with the inside team and field team.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of subject matter and curricular issues and utilizes information to build a foundation for effective communication with customers.
Serves as a resource for customers and colleagues when market or product information is needed.
Conducts program overviews and focused follow-up product training.
Delivers high quality professional development in the field.
Develops collateral assets required for delivering sales presentations, training presentations and ongoing professional development as assigned by the national consultant manager.
Arrange travel in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Participate in meetings and other collaborative efforts of the consulting team.
Skills you will need here:
5+ years’ experience as an educator, sales, or consulting position.
Teaching experience preferred.
Ability to travel nationally 75% of the time.
Product and market knowledge.
Persuasive presentation skills.
Proficient with presentation and asset creation tools.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
