National Account Sales Manager (Ferguson/HDDC) - Dacor

Position Overview:
The National Account Executive for Dacor will directly lead the integration work and business development of the relationship between Dacor and National Accounts. This person will actively be available to travel back and forth to National Account HQ’s to build relationships with the corporate team along with key regional management throughout the US. He/she will need to understand each National Account processes and procedures as it relates corporately and to the branches in the field and be able to teach those to the Dacor Sales team across the US. This person will report to the Sr. Director of Dacor Sales He/she will be responsible for developing the annual terms and conditions and strategic marketing plan for National Accounts. He/she will be responsible to develop programming that will drive new business and market share growth. He/she will provide leadership and coordination of all company sales, demand generation, B2B/channel marketing and product marketing direction for Dacor appliance product categories through National Accounts. He/she will partner with Dacor sales management to develop brand initiatives to grow our brand share in the luxury segment and ensure program execution.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Leadership for new business development sales practices.
  • Accountable for achieving annual sales targets and margins while positioning the Dacor business for continued growth.
  • Define the strategic and annual go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate with Dacor Demand Gen and Product Marketing teams to support brand development.
  • Create new business development practices through the field selling organization.
  • Enable on-going negotiating skills development and education
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal budgets
  • Set measurable, specific and compatible goals aligned with organizational objectives and values
  • Track sales, showroom share, MDF activities to measure ROI and maintain profitability
  • Create and lead sales presentations to National Accounts corporately and divisionally as needed.
  • Converts business strategy into execution plans and accountabilities with Dacor sales management
  • Visit National Account showrooms to review Dacor merchandising.
  • Participate in Dacor National Account training sessions.
  • Create, implement and execute Dacor programming for National Accounts.
  • Work independently and travel up to 50%+ of the time

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree required, MBA is a plus.
  • History of professional skill development and learning  
  • Progressive sales leadership career (6+ years) working with the home building and remodeling industries preferably in the home appliance industry
  • Working with large remote sales organizations
  • New process definition/documentation.  Business case justification for system development investment.
  • Collaborating with local, regional or national industry associations, i.e. NAHB, KNBA, ASID
  • Trade customer and business turnaround success
  • New organization start-up
  • Key account management planning and developing
  • Merchandising and/or marketing leadership roles
  • Sales planning, execution management and working strategically with a non-direct reporting sales force
  • Ideal candidate will be on the East Coast
  • Excellent time management skills

  • Team building with emphasis on relationship development with Ferguson corporate, Samsung Builder leadership and Dacor sales management

FULLY REMOTE – CAN BE PERFORMED ANYWHERE

The salary range for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, and actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.  However, the salary ranges in the following regions are expected to be as follows:

  • Colorado: $133,000 to $140,000
  • New York: $166,500 to $175,000
  • Washington State: $137,500 to $153,000
  • California: $155,000 to $164,000
