The Opportunity:

• CACI’s Agile Digital Solutions Group is seeking a Salesforce developer who will be a part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Consolidated Applications and Platform Services (NCAPS) team.
• NCAPS is a consolidation of current applications to standardize NASA’s IT systems and applications to include general IT, customer support, information management, mission support systems.
• NCAPS software developers will be part of a large-scale transformation effort to migrate the enterprise into a SAFe delivery model and becoming one of the flagship Agile programs within CACI and the government.

Responsibilities:

• Expert-level software development support focused on developing customized Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Applies expert knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
• Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements Salesforce solutions including developing integration points with boundary systems.
• Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
• Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
• Designs and develops new capabilities and enhancements to existing software. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
• Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.

Qualifications:

Required: 

• Bachelors’ degree (will consider experience in lieu of degree)
• 12 or more years of experience as a software developer
• 5 or more years of experience developing and sustaining large-scale Salesforce applications.
• Must be willing and able to obtain a NASA Public Trust Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Experience driving technical decisions, including the ability to break down problems, identify solutions, and communicate the process and conclusions to an engineering team
• Knowledge of API's and understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML

Desired:

• Prior NASA experience
• Passion for developing customer-focused solutions.
• Experience with integration software including the Mulesoft platform.
• SAFe certification

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$95,500-$210,100
