About the Role

As the Manager of Member Education, you'll create and deliver educational materials to help members understand and use their health coverage. You will leverage your love of writing to craft materials that empower members to maximize their Sidecar Health benefits, especially during the initial learning curve. You'll sit at the heart of the Product Marketing function, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to ensure our members have the knowledge and resources they need.

What You'll Do 

  • Develop educational materials (help center articles, bite-sized coaching content, videos, flyers) across all phases of the member journey
  • Attend recurring meetings with cross-functional teams and manage the member education intake queue
  • Manage brief intake process: Inspect briefs for thoroughness, push on brief writers to ensure a member-centric approach
  • Determine optimal medium(s) for each education piece (FAQ, Video, etc)
  • Copywrite clear, succinct messaging and choose appropriate imagery to best explain processes; bring in internal designer when needed
  • Route all pieces through a formal review process
  • Deploy content and bring it to life via internal design and CRM colleagues
  • Manage internal-facing and member-facing asset libraries and conduct quarterly audits to keep materials up to date
  • Collaborate across departments (Product, Account Management, Member Care, Operations, Legal, Provider Engagement, Claims)

What You'll Bring 

  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing or content creation (health communications, medical writing, patient education, or healthcare content creation a plus)
  • Curious, creative mind that can simplify complex messages and help us establish meaningful connections between the Brand and our members
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and health insurance concepts
  • Proven track record of crafting clear, concise, and engaging copy across various formats (website, email, video, help articles, webinars, etc.)
