In this role you will be a key resource within the Plastic Additives Supply Chain organization, responsible for planning and managing the value chain of imported products in North America.

As a Materials Manager Import Planner, you create chemistry by...

 

 

  • Successfully engaging across the organization by collaborating across regions (NAFTA, Europe, Asia) and cross-functionally (e.g., Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Customer Care) to develop plans to optimize and manage supply and inventory balance of approximately 80 imported products.

  • Leading regional supply chain optimization and IRDSP efforts for your portfolio of products and serve as a key interface to the Product Management and Supply Chain groups. You will have ownership of the supply network strategy and inventory strategy for your portfolio.

  • Leveraging your knowledge of production and global planning you will be responsible for maximizing available-to-promise (ATP) capabilities while minimizing back-order backlog for imported articles.

  • Demonstrating your excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills, as well as interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and networking skills, will allow you to bring to resolution any demand/supply imbalances.

If you...

 

  • BS/BA Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  •  APICS (CPIM) certification a plus
  •  Experience using software tools, including SAP APO and MS Office Applications
