Job Summary

 

As Marketing Manager for an aviation portfolio, you will be responsible for the overall implementation and success of the organization’s front of house standards and client driven initiatives. You will focus on executing strategic initiatives that drive customer satisfaction including, but not limited to, merchandising, seasonal activations and regional promotions.

 

As Marketing Manager for the portfolio, you will work closely with the Director of Marketing for Airport Lounges and Conference center to ensure the organization’s Aviation division goals are met. This role reports directly into the portfolio’s Vice President of Operations. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing in the delivery and communication of marketing programs from FLIK to managers to ensure consistent representation of FLIK promotions at each location. 
  • Support the Director of Marketing in planning and executing seasonal marketing activations and monthly promotions.
  • Conduct sites visits, and identify opportunities to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with marketing and culinary teams to address FOH needs, organize regional site tours, and implement refreshes and seasonal innovations.
  • Partner with the corporate FLIK Marketing and Creative Services team to develop tailored local activations for each region we serve.
  • Deliver and communicate monthly marketing promotions to managers for seamless implementation.
  • Provide support for new account openings, including station diagrams, layouts, and smallwares lookbooks.
  • Develop internal and external communication materials, as needed. 
  • Align implementation of new processes and procedures with program’s internal and external communication strategies. 
  • Act on metrics, identify gaps and improvements to the program. 
  • Communicate progress, risks, and escalations appropriately at all levels of the organization, or multiple departments, and businesses.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with all stakeholders - including senior executives, on site operational leadership, and client.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to develop quarterly marketing performance reviews and contribute insights for business reviews.
  • Collect and analyze data on smallwares usage and wear, creating detailed annual reports.
  • Facilitate FOH training, including smallwares management and signage standards.
  • Edit and refine marketing materials as needed across the portfolio. 
  • Review and proof marketing materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the operational services team to develop strategies for enhancing the FLIK brand presence.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and objectives.
  • Support the marketing and creative departments in developing sales strategies within the portfolio and region.
  • Absorb and embody the brand and principles of FLIK and the client.
     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2-3 years of Merchandising / Marketing experience.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills needed to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be proficient in station displays.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills- you find clear and compelling ways to communicate to multi-functional partners.
  • Must be proficient in Power Point, Canva, Excel, and Microsoft Office (Adobe suite a plus).
  • Proven ability to define and execute change strategies.
  • Client-focused, proactive with a strong mind-set for continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to influence and manage external resources in a highly matrix’ d environment.
  • Proven ability address competing priorities within a single project with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and makes informed decisions based on analysis and outcomes.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time.
