Marketing Analytics Specialist - Remote CA - R1

Collect, maintain, and analyze data for business, product and market development. Provide recommendations based on insights gathered from analysis. Roles include but are not limited to, market research, competitive analysis, and marketing analytics.

Consult with business partners to develop objectives and suggest appropriate research designs in meeting their business needs including multi-study research plans, engaging other groups as needed to ensure project success

Develop single and multi-study research methodologies and procedures

Collect and analyze data from multiple studies using appropriate statistical methods (i.e. descriptive statistics, cross-tabulation, correlation), identifying trends and drawing conclusions considering secondary sources and industry knowledge

Facilitate and analyze qualitative sessions (i.e. focus groups, 1:1 interviews, war room workshops)

Synthesize multi-study results, preparing detailed and accurate written reports (including data tables, charts, and graphics) with sound, actionable business insight for presentation to management and internal business partners

Conduct industry assessments to provide insight into interactions between business line products, services, strategy, competition, and macro-environment

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

2+ years’ experience in related analytics work using appropriate statistical methods

2+ years’ experience using analytic results to provide insight for management and business partners

Portfolio of work and completed projects

Demonstrated experience in developing information solutions in a data warehouse environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines

Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
