The Manager, Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) is experienced in leading cross-functional teams, conducting analyses, providing recommendations and guidance towards the delivery of strategic multiple large-scale supply chain solutions projects. They are expected to work closely with clients to understand their business needs, identify opportunities for improvement and design solutions to optimize their supply chains. They manage and balance the requirements between business objectives and project requirements. They recognize trends, patterns, or themes in complex data, and leverage their experience to solve complex problems.
The Manager will collect, analyze and interpret supply chain and financial data efficiently by identifying trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement. They will adapt approaches and methods to achieve solutions and results in dynamic environments, especially when priorities change unexpectedly.
Salary Range
Salary Min : $123,000 Salary Max :$150,000
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Detailed analyses of clients’ data and supply chain operations to support the design of improved value chain solutions, in support of growing DP World clients and revenue
- Ability to structure and build logical analytical/process models leading to scenario modelling
- Process mapping and reengineering
- Readily identify constraints and areas for improvement within a client’s supply chains
- Propose plans to optimize processes, reduce costs and enhance overall supply chain performance
- Presentation and project deliverable creation
- Meet deadlines and deliver on commitments
- Check, update and manage expectations with project manager
Who Are You?
You are an expert in both network modelling tools such as Supply Chain Guru, anyLogistix, and/or Log-hub, as well financial modelling including discounted cash flow analyses. You are also an expert in the use of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and others, as well as database management tools such as Excel, Access, and SQL. You enjoy working with large data sets and creating order out of seeming chaos. You want to work for a large, global company that is going places. But you are also excited by the prospect of working for a young, growing, entrepreneurial team within that company where your individual contributions can make a difference. You understand the business implications of Big Data and understand the concept of taking data and turning it into information, knowledge and insights.
A Day (or Week) in The Life:
- You report to the Senior Manager on the SCS team who will serve as your guide and coach in terms of career and professional development. This Senior Manager, in collaboration with you and other team members, will direct your day-to-day activities.
- You work on many different work efforts simultaneously, so having a clear understanding of priorities and deadlines is important.
- Work with the client to understand definitions of various data fields, units of measure, data period time frame, geographies, business units, product groups and more. You develop a list of follow-up questions for the client that will bring additional clarity to the data.
- You clean, organize, and analyze client data, using tools and techniques you have acquired over the years. You identify and segregate bad data; you manipulate the data so that it can be imported into other applications; you document your work and assumptions for future consideration.
- You receive exposure and experience from your senior teammates on the use of sophisticated network and transportation modeling tools. These tools execute on your input data sets and form the basis for the team’s supply chain analyses.
- You create and use discounted cash flow models to quantify the value/ROI of proposed client supply chain solutions. You modify and customize these models on a case-by-case basis so that they represent the unique needs and requirements for each client situation.
- With the assistance of your teammates, you determine the optimal manner and tools in which to present your analytical results. You contribute to project deliverables through the summarization of your work efforts into those deliverables.
- You support the SCS leadership team in the development and refinement of team infrastructure as we look to continuously improve the practice. Elements of this infrastructure include:
- Project methodologies
- Thought leadership
- Marketing materials
- Management and reporting templates
- Case studies
- Project tools and templates
- Education materials for internal and external clients
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college.; An emphasis in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain is preferred
- Supply Chain consulting experience from either a mainstream management consulting firm, a boutique Supply Chain consulting company, 3PL, or similar
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience working within a data and analytics team
- Advanced skills in MS Excel/MS Access; experience working with formulas, large data tables, pivot tables, charts, queries, custom functions, data management and analysis
- Experience with supply chain planning & design tools such as Log-hub, Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, JDA Supply Chain Strategist, and/or IBM LogicNet Plus, or similar supply chain modeling environments
- Experience in creating discounted cash flow models and other techniques for quantifying value
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools
- Familiarity with planning, forecasting, transportation, inventory management, and strategic sourcing
- Some programming skills a plus, especially in optimization software packages
- A thorough understanding of supply chain concepts and functions
- A demonstrated track record of accomplishment and growth in your current career
- Very strong skills working with large data sets using a variety of different tools for both analysis and presentation/visualization
