The role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical background with expertise in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C++, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
• Proven ability to manage and mentor software engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple projects.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $105,100 - $195,200.
