Job Summary:
Red Hat is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on validating third-party AI models for compatibility with Red Hat AI platforms. This role involves overseeing the development of automated pipelines for benchmarking inference performance, evaluating accuracy, and enabling the publication and internal consumption of validated models. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a DevOps mindset, and experience building scalable microservices.
What you will do:
Lead a team responsible for validating third-party AI models on Red Hat AI platforms.
Design and maintain automated pipelines for model performance and accuracy evaluation.
Ensure validated models are published and accessible for customer use.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and sales enablement teams to surface validation data and support go-to-market efforts.
Guide architectural decisions around microservices and devops practices to support scalable and reliable validation workflows.
Foster a high-performing team culture through mentorship, technical guidance, and career development.
Collaborate with partners who are both consumers and contributors of the team's deliverables.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Manage project timelines and resources.
Communicate technical plans and progress to stakeholders.
What You Will Bring:
Proven experience leading software engineering teams, preferably in AI, ML, or platform validation contexts.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and microservice architectures.
Experience with AI/ML tools, frameworks, and performance benchmarking.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Track record of delivering scalable, production-grade software systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

The salary range for this position is $163,420.00 - $269,640.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
