Job Description Summary
Implementing and driving the Private Label strategy with all accounts, including major national accounts. Additionally, there will be a need to manage a broker partner at select customers to support the business development opportunities within Private Label. Building relationships with Private Label personnel at retailers and distributors, including key decision makers and senior leaders across multiple functions within the customer will be a key to success in this role. Collaborating with internal sales and all cross functional stakeholders to achieve sales objectives. Developing and managing sales plans and execution of private label strategy. Preparing sales reports and plans. May act as the quality liaison between producer and customer. May be assigned to special markets/complex product lines that require significant client relationship skills.
Job Description
Private Label sales goals using appropriate resources available, balancing volume, forecasting and profit goals and managing a dynamic environment to achieve results.
Develop Private Label Items in ambitious, articulate, consultative, fact-based selling proposals and presentations leveraging key insights with poise and confidence.
Interfaces across functions at the customer to develop mutually beneficial programs and actionable solutions.
Maximizes the ROI to Lamb Weston on new private label and branded initiatives.
Leads cross-functional collaboration internally and externally.
Develop and maintain relationship with customer in conjunction with Account Manager when expanding PL capabilities and portfolio, including project management software data maintenance and Stage Gate committee representative
Develop customer meeting presentations and insight-based PL selling materials
Lead weekly funnel call to discuss opportunities with cross-functional partners across all RBU business
Contract Management assistance for PL and deli portfolio
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Minimum BA/BS degree, MBA desirable.
Minimum of 8 years’ progressive sales experience, to include account management in the Retail Grocery Channel. Private Label experience is a plus.
Strong cross functional leadership skills.
Capable of effectively interpreting and using multiple information resources to develop strategies and tactics, including joint business planning
Proficient in PC tools and applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail). Knowledge and understanding of DOMO and Salesforce.
Able to establish and maintain strong internal and external working relationships.
Strong interpersonal and directing skills.
Proven fiscal responsibility.
Ability to travel up to 40%, valid US driver’s license and ability to meet Company driving standards.

A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $136,290.00 - $204,410.00
