Manager, Multimedia Strategy (Remote based in US)

As part of the Tenet Vital Marketing Team, the Manager, Multimedia Strategy will be responsible for leading the multimedia production team for all branding and enterprise campaigns that support our growth agenda. 

The Multimedia Strategy Manager defines the multimedia strategy and closely partners with the IMC creative lead to deliver impactful campaigns. S/he is responsible for setting a compelling vision of our storytelling and leads the creative content and postproduction team.  S/he is inquisitive and leads all creative execution with an insights first mindset. They will proactively build collaborative relationships across all of Vital marketing, with an emphasis on the field teams, and welcome feedback throughout the creative development process. 

The Multimedia Strategy Manager will lead and manage a team of 4 editors and animators across the home office and the Global Business Center in Manila. The candidate must have a keen eye for detail, innovation, and multimedia leadership. The Manager works well with cross-functional teams and can influence his/her strategic vision for the entire marketing team. In addition, s/he must be able to work across multiple marketing departments to develop creative design aligned with Tenet’s marketing and brand needs as required. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead best-in-class multimedia design and editing team to support all aspects of enterprise campaign execution and locally driven campaigns.
  • Continuously develop a point of view on storytelling and where we can amplify our video content and bring our patient and physician stories to life. 
  • Oversee the entire multimedia production process, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring high-quality, engaging content, and have a keen eye on industry and competitive trends.
  • Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Provide creative direction and hands-on expertise in video editing, animation, and graphic design when required, and manage the multimedia and video/animation team, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to ensure the team's growth and development.
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards, project timelines, coordinating resources, and managing project schedules.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our multimedia production capabilities.
  • Maintain and organize multimedia assets, ensuring they are easily accessible for the team.
  • Review and approve final multimedia content, ensuring it meets quality standards and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, freelancers, and agencies when necessary.

Administration and Team Management:

  • Manage vendors and/or junior team members as needed.
  • Lead team of video editors.
  • Maintain ticket management and status reporting system efficiently.
  • Project management of all production schedules.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or Fine Arts, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in the marketing or graphic design fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in a creative leadership role.
  • Proficient in Mac operating system, Adobe CCS, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Adobe Experience Manager, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, and Media Encoder.
  • Ability to travel 5-10 days per year.
  • In-depth knowledge of brand development in a multi-channel healthcare environment a plus.
  • Proven familiarity with both print and digital production workflows.
  • Strong project management skills, including budget management.
  • Proven experience in creative direction and hands-on content production.

Compensation:

  • Pay:  $89,440 - $143,104 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience. 
  • Position may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-25% depending on role level. 
  • Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
