As a Refractive Surgical Consultant, you will work with the Wavelight suite, and any other Wavelight consumables or disposables. Work with the Account Managers and the Refractive team to ensure a smooth sales process, and product knowledge post sale.

Primary Responsibilities:

Regional on-label post-install sales support, and technical selling for WaveLight® products, with an emphasis on premium
procedural selling. Branded products include: WaveLight® Excimer, WaveLight® Femto, Contoura, Wavelight Pus, and all
related Wavelight consumables/disposables.
• Work closely with Wavelight Managers (WM), and Division Manager (DM), and Refractive team to optimize sales
initiatives, product adoption, and goals.
• Ability to consult with physician/surgeon, key opinion leaders (KOLs), key customer decision makers, and internal
stakeholders.
• Maintain high level of technical knowledge on key existing and new surgical products.
• Accountable for assigned sales objectives for region.
• Responsible for Management Business Objectives (MBOs) assigned by management.
 

What you will bring to Alcon:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13yrs; Assoc. +9yrs; M.S. +2yrs).
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience and 3 Years of Demonstrated Leadership.
 

How you can thrive at Alcon:

• Advanced Ophthalmic surgical/technical skills and knowledge. 
• A demonstrated track record of proven sales achievements is highly preferred.
• Experience consulting in an Operating Room (OR) setting.
• Experience consulting with Refractive technologies.
• Strong working knowledge of Refractive diagnostics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
