About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indirect Procurement Manager to support our marketing team. The successful candidate will lead strategic sourcing for all marketing-related goods and services across all brands (Levi’s, Dockers, Beyond Yoga) globally. This role is responsible for managing the procurement process from supplier selection through contract negotiation and ongoing supplier management, with a focus on driving cost efficiencies, ensuring high-quality service levels, and building strong partnerships with key marketing suppliers in various regions. This category includes Media, Creative Agencies, PR, Production and Marketplace Insights.

Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for marketing categories, including advertising, media buying, digital marketing, creative services, events, and public relations.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on procurement best practices and industry trends to marketing stakeholders.
  • Develop a rolling 3-year global category strategy that aligns with business objectives. Strategy includes but is not limited to, supply market analysis, price/service level benchmarking, sourcing events (RFP/e-auction), supplier negotiations, ongoing supplier relationship management.
  • Lead the supplier selection process, including RFPs/RFQs, negotiations, and contract finalization, ensuring LS&Co. is competitive in the marketplace.
  • Manage and optimize relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on key metrics and establish improvement plans as necessary.
  • Maintain or reduce global marketing supplier base
  • Support and drive supplier diversity effort
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels as well as external suppliers.

Cost Management & Efficiency:

  •  Identify cost-saving opportunities within the marketing spend categories and implement strategies to realize savings without compromising quality or service.
  • Analyze market trends and assess risks to develop effective procurement strategies.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance with contracts.
  • Build and institutionalize market intelligence capabilities (people, database, information, analysis) within categories of focus, regarding key markets, suppliers, and solutions to support strategy development.
  • Track and measure progress against defined individual and team metrics

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, legal and other relevant teams to understand business needs and ensure procurement strategies align with overall company objectives.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the procurement team and the marketing department to ensure smooth communication and collaboration with global and regional stakeholders.
  • Lead and coach sourcing analysts and sourcing support teams, where project support is required.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.

About You

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of indirect sourcing experience with strong focus on marketing categories.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and culturally aware
  • Strong interpersonal skills, swiftly becoming a trusted advisor to the business on all things sourcing related
  • Experience working on business process improvement and/or strategy projects
  • Ability to identify, recommend, and execute on different negotiation levers
  • Solid business judgement, including the ability to anticipate the impact of decisions & initiatives
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Capacity to be a change agent, demonstrating persistence and resiliencies when faced with challenges.
  • Strong team player with the ability to consider and incorporate multiple prospective to drive category objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in procurement practices & technologies and market trends related to assigned categories of goods and services.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict management abilities
  • Effective communication across multiple languages, countries and cultures
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite with advanced skills in Excel.
  • E-auction experience

The expected starting salary range for this role is $96,600 to $146,200 per year We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
