Manager, Events Strategy

Raleigh

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of audience acquisition for events through precision marketing. Event types will include but are not limited to, customer and user events, executive events, webinars and virtual events.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to develop creative event marketing campaigns and plans that align with our overall team, marketing and corporate strategy.

• Work with global cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, sales and internal agency teams to ensure that event messaging, deliverables, post event analysis, and tactics are implemented according to strategy.

• Lead the post-event marketing strategies and collaborate with stakeholders across the company to impact the pipeline and revenue generation impact of our customer events

• Support and collaborate on the customer journey pre and on-site from a marketing standpoint to optimize the experience for effective follow-up. 

• Continually evaluate event performance and metrics and convert them into actionable improvements to the overall event program.

• Oversee the project management of RedHat TV and manage all aspects of marketing and execution.

• Lead a team of 4+ associates

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience with event management or marketing

• Experience with planning and realizing large and small high-profile events

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

• Extremely detail-oriented with solid organizational and problem-solving skills

• Good project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple events simultaneously

• Broad experience with marketing campaign tactics

• Initiative and the ability to work as part of a team and build relationships

• Willingness to travel and work occasional nights and weekends to support in-person or virtual events; ability to be comfortable working in various time zones if working remotely.  Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

The salary range for this position is $94,010.00 - $150,410.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
