The Accounts Receivable Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our accounts receivable processes to support our rapid growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in a startup environment, exhibit strong problem-solving skills, and have a passion for building scalable and efficient financial processes.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead, and mentor a high-performing AR team.
    • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  2. Accounts Receivable Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the AR department, including invoicing, collections, cash applications, and AR reporting to management.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and receipts.
    • Monitor AR aging reports and collaborate with our customer success team to implement strategies to reduce aged balances
  3. Process Improvement:
    • Design and implement scalable AR processes to support the company’s rapid growth..
    • Continuously assess and refine AR workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with other business stakeholders to develop or refine AR workflow and processes.
  4. Customer Relations:
    • Maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment and resolution of any billing issues.
    • Handle escalated customer inquiries and disputes professionally and promptly.
    • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to address and resolve customer concerns.
  5. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and analyze AR reports, including aging reports, collection forecasts, and cash flow projections.
    • Present AR metrics and trends to senior management.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
