A Brief Overview
Leads the evaluation, reporting, monitoring, and documentation of privacy and security risks and remediations, daily security support, and continuous improvement of/for Workday HR security. Designs, implement and administer Workday security for global HR systems against best practices.
What you will do
- Coordinate collaboration with HR Business, compliance, security, and privacy teams on projects related to compliance with global data protection and privacy laws as they pertain to Workday HR security.
- Deliver process improvements to mitigate risk, meet business obligations, and regulatory requirements for Workday HR security.
- Oversee coordination of incoming audits and assessments, coordinating discussions with appropriate owners and business stakeholders, and ensuring remediation activities meet associated due dates to ensure timely completion.
- Ensures the development of policies, standards, controls, procedures, and security and privacy audits and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with RGA Global Security Architecture standards and policies.
- The scope of routine activities and tasks in this role will be in support of any security need for Workday HR users.
- Can lead/coach more junior members in Workday Security.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
- 8+ Years strong relevant experience in Workday HR user, domain, business process, and integrations security, privacy, audit, controls and regulatory compliance, or related experience
- Strong background in Workday platform and Integrations.
- Workday Tenant management.
- SSO/Okta configuration
- Strong Technical Documentation skills
- Workday HCM
- Solid understanding of core HR concepts like hiring, compensation, benefits, time off, and performance management, data governance, proxy, and authentication policies.
- Agile Methodology
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in arts/sciences (MA/MS) or professional industry certification like Workday Pro Security Certification and/or Pro Platform Admin Certification.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Required:
- Deep knowledge of business and technology operations; ability to work well within a team setting and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Advanced knowledge of global standards and regulations regarding security. Knowledge of applicable regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, GDPR, DORA, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and stay current on Workday HR data privacy, data security, and fraud threats and vulnerabilities and apply in practice.
- Quick to adapt to new methods; ability to be flexible when needed, take initiative, and demonstrate accountability
- Excellent organizational, planning and task management skills with high attention to detail; ability to adjust and communicate changing priorities to project members and work under tight timelines
- Advanced investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to set goals, communicate expected outcomes and liase with individuals across a variety of functions and levels
- Excellent customer service skills: ability to balance multiple priorities, deadlines and deliverables while maintaining a positive attitude
- Advanced oral and written communication skills; ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner and provide regular proactive updates to team members, key stakeholders, up to and including senior level management. Early expertise in deck development and presentation skills

Compensation Range:
$104,350.00 - $155,350.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
