We currently have a career opportunity for a Lead Full Stack DevOps Developer to join our team in a remote work capacity.

 

Job Overview:

 

The Full Stack DevOps Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on AWS services, particularly focusing on Lambda functions. This role leverages AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) in TypeScript to build and deploy robust CI/CD pipelines. The developer collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance, security, and scalability of systems.

  • Designs and implements infrastructure using AWS CDK and CloudFormation to streamline cloud operations.
  • Builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines using modern tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, and GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborates with development and operations teams to support application deployment and monitoring.
  • Automates infrastructure management through Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Creates containerized applications using Docker and deploys them on AWS ECS.
  • Develops scripts for automation and integration tasks using languages like Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
  • Monitors system performance and ensures high availability and security using tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, and Prometheus.
  • Implements best practices for version control, reviewing and managing the codebase using Git and its platforms (GitHub, TFS, Bitbucket).

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps/CloudOps engineering, focusing on cloud infrastructure management.
  • Proven expertise in AWS services, particularly in deploying and managing serverless applications using Lambda.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code principles and tools like CDK, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Solid experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with AWS ECS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring solutions and best practices to ensure system reliability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

 

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decision are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding to each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
