JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The LionPATH Development and Maintenance Organization (LDMO), a unit of Penn State Information Technology’s Academic Technology and Customer Experience organization, is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and knowledgeable individual to become the next Admissions Team Lead (ERP Analyst – Senior Supervisor). ERP Analysts ensure the reliable performance of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; troubleshoot and resolve any ERP related system and user issues; participate in projects to gather user requirements, design, configure, test and implement ERP systems and applications; monitor system performance and usage to maintain security and reliability; coordinate new software fixes and upgrades; recommend new features or changes to configuration/ workflows based on user feedback; and more.

Note: Penn State’s Student Information System (SIS), referred to as LionPATH, is Oracle’s PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.

  • Team Supervision: Lead and supervise staff members within the functional Admissions Team, including hiring, development, and performance management.
  • ERP System Management: Evaluate, analyze, and maintain ERP systems; act as a liaison between technical staff and university home offices/user groups.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate effectively and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with multiple university home offices and stakeholders.
  • Customer Support: Provide advanced customer service and functional support to end-users in the Admissions area; assist with implementing workarounds when system issues affect operations.
  • Business Needs Analysis: Determine options for addressing new business needs or requirements through existing system functions; develop clear requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications when modifications or interfaces are needed.
  • Project Management: Manage complex projects, either individually or for the team, review progress, and evaluate results.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Provide feedback to leadership on work status, team needs, and proposed project tasks and activities.
  • Prioritization: Prioritize and deliver on requests from multiple constituencies with often overlapping timelines and varying levels of complexity.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans and validation, as well as other quality assurance measures; conduct and coordinate testing such as system, user acceptance, performance, security, usability, etc.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Design, implement, and analyze reports to determine overall trends within the organization.
  • Vendor Relations: Maintain relationships with vendors; collaborate on bug fixes, new features, and proper use of products.
  • Training and Communication: Develop and provide training sessions, demonstrations, and regular communication to home offices/end-users.
  • Documentation: Maintain system documentation and records of changes and incidents.

Required Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.   Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Preferred Experience and/or Knowledge: 

  • Higher Education Admissions experience in IT and/or Home Office

  • Familiarity with Oracle’s PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, especially the Admissions module and related functionality (including, but not limited to: File Parser, Equation Engine, and/or PS Query)

  • Management/supervisory experience

This position is fully remote (within the United States). Standard working hours are in the Eastern Time Zone.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$68,200.00 - $102,300.00
