Information about the position
This role is part of the Vinted Go Operations team, which is responsible for delivering the best customer experience to our customers across Europe. We do this by managing external relationships with our Delivery Service Providers and monitoring delivery performance in order to drive improvement and make the experience better. You will also co-create with cross-functional teams and implement new processes to scale our Vinted Locker network. These solutions will enable the network to grow at scale whilst meeting ambitious sustainability and cost goals. You will work closely with Operations, Product and Engineering teams and Health & Safety to achieve success.
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Last Mile Manager to oversee the delivery operations of our company. The Last Mile Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our delivery service providers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products, and meeting performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and delivery management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction.
This role can be bases in one of our warehouses in France (Lyon, Paris, Lille) but can also be fully remote.
In this position, you’ll
- Manage and develop relationships with delivery service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
- Source and onboard the delivery service providers in new service areas.
- Monitor and analyze delivery performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and improve the daily operational reports and metrics.
- Ensure delivery service providers comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to address delivery-related customer inquiries and issues.
- Optimize and standardize last mile related processes across sites.
- Be the point of contact of the Product/Tech teams to develop new features and improve last mile operations efficiency
About you
- Proven experience in transportation management, logistics, or a related role (5+ years).
- In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, route planning, and fleet management.
- Strong interest and commitment to operational topics
- Previous experience in supervising a small team is an advantage
- Ability to adapt to fast-changing context and environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Fluency in English and in French

The salary range for this position is € 59,300 - € 80,300 gross per year
