Department: Marketing

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Remote, UK

Reporting To: Heidi Marshall

Compensation: £35,000 / year

Description

Junior Events & Marketing Manager

At Aptem we’re passionate about creating technology solutions that enable people to learn and improve their lives. Demand for our end-to-end SaaS solutions are ever-increasing and we are continuing to expand rapidly as a business. If you’re interested in joining a talented, committed and driven team that is leading the charge in this fast-growing space, then you should apply!

We are a small team who all have a hands-on, collaborative approach and act as the internal customer. We are responsible for business growth through new logo acquisition, customer retention and identification of new market opportunities. We work closely with the Business Development team to produce communications that address customer pain points, run relevant events, maintain a wide range of communication channels and increase our brand exposure externally.

We are looking for a Junior Events & Marketing Manager to join our team. We welcome applications from people looking for a mid-career change and returners to the workplace, who have transferable skills but not necessarily direct experience, in addition to people with an events and marketing background. We would consider part-time requirements.

The successful candidate will help us to plan and deliver a calendar of virtual and in-person events for our customers and prospective customers, while providing generalist marketing support to the team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role supporting the growth of our business.

The Junior Events & Marketing Manager will have exposure to a broad range of events and will have the opportunity to utilise and develop broader related marketing skills across all our channels – including CRM, email marketing, social, partnerships and website. They will be supported by an experienced and collaborative team.

Our events currently comprise product training and thought leadership webinars, large-scale industry conference sponsorship and exhibitions, speaking engagements, regional industry events, customer forums, and large customer events.

This role will be remote-first, working from home, with occasional visits to our London office in Camden for team meetings and attendance at events. Some overnight trips will be required; all events are currently in the UK.

Culture is really important at Aptem and we hold regular company events including our Summer and Winter UK team away days, and activities such as Shuffleboard and bowling. We have a range of initiatives to ensure you make great connections, including virtual coffees, meet your Aptem neighbours and buddying.
